The wide, open road; subsisting on truckstop grub; meeting weathered prostitutes – being an American trucker sounds like an interesting life. And it’s a life that you’ll be able to get a taste of very soon, when American Truck Simulator launches early next year.
February 3rd: that’s when you’ll get to command your very own big rig and service the proud people of America by transporting goods across the nation’s arteries.
The release date announcement is accompanied by a reminder that the base game only contains a couple of trucks and the state of California, so prospective players should temper their expectations accordingly.
SCS Software have a grander vision in mind, however. Their intent is to cover all of North America and they plan to chase down every relevant truck manufacturer so that they can feature their rigs in the game.
