Anno, Blue Byte’s agreeable city-builder series, is going to the moon. One viewing of the trailer shown at Ubisoft’s E3 conference revealed not a single Clanger, but I’ll be going back to check.
The video took in an impressive moon colony – before following a ship out into space to find that its people are trading with another, equally impressive colony on a neighbouring planet.
Players won’t get to start on the moon, you understand, but will earn their way there by first building a beautiful, utopian city on terra firma. Crop cultivation will be rewarded with flying cars and, eventually, shuttles.
