ARMA 3’s Marksmen DLC is out, and with it a flashy and quite gun-tastic launch trailer. Inside are seven new assault rifles and two new machine guns, all taking advantage of a slew of weapon improvements which is available as part of a free companion update. But that’s not all, you’ll also see the new Marksmen scenario in action, along with the virtual vehicle garage.
The Marksmen DLC, while a paid for product, also signals the arrival of a free platform update which improves many of ARMA 3’s key shooting mechanics. So even if you don’t pick up the DLC, you’ve still got better weapon handling, gun sounds and attachment support.
