Assassin's Creed movie scribe announced: Michael Lesslie

With Ubisoft looking for a Summer 2014 release date, the Assassin's Creed movie is rushing towards filming. Already set to star Michael Fassbender, today the scribe of the film was announced to be Michael Lesslie.

Assassin's Creed would be his first feature film, he currently has three short films under his belt and a number of plays.

His shorts have been included below.

As Eurogamer note, Lesslie's also responsible for Prince of Denmark, a prequel play to Shakespeare's Hamlet. Which does mean that Hamlet is now a trilogy:
