Batman: Arkham Knight lead to early owners: “Don’t be a dick” about spoilers

Batman: Arkham Knight

The man in the mask? He’s just debonair man-about-town Bruce Wayne with glued-on, extra-punchy fists and a bad case of the grumbles. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Batman spoilers: as in Scooby-Doo, every cab driver and candy floss salesman eventually shows up in a costume.

That’s an issue for action-storytellers Rocksteady – especially when their latest Bat-tale, Arkham Knight, has been swooping onto doorsteps early.

Rocksteady game director and co-founder Sefton Hill took to Twitter to implore players to keep plot twists to themselves.

There’s likely plenty to spoil. Arkham Knight will be Rocksteady’s final Batman game, and they’ll surely want to end their custody of the series in decisive fashion. Expect any loose threads to be well-tied.

And there’s a specific mystery vexing the world’s most violent detective in his latest outing: the identity of the Arkham Knight. It’s not the caped crusader who lends his name to this entry’s subtitle.

At least one thread claiming “major spoilers” has been removed from GameFAQs.

Batman: Arkham Knight is out tomorrow on PC – but only digitally. No chance of an early copy there. Have any of you lot become invested in Rocksteady’s writing?
