You can register now to be one of the select few to take part in the closed beta for Battleborn, which is taking place at the end of this month.

Meet Battleborn’s flat-headed big bad guy, Lothar Rendain.

The purpose of the closed beta is to squash bugs, stress test the servers, balance characters and test the online infrastructure. Of course, you can still have fun while that’s all going on behind the scenes. If it’s not pants.

There are a few caveats to registering, however. First off, you must have a SHiFT account.

More importantly, you need to agree to an NDA before taking part in the beta. This agreement bans you from capturing gameplay footage, livestreaming, posting images, or publicly discussing the tests online.

Additionally, your machine needs to meet the minimum specs which are as follows:

OS: Windows 7 x64-Bit or Later

Processor: Intel Core2 Extreme CPU Q6850/ AMD A8-3870k (Quad Core CPU’s)

Memory: 6 GB

Hard Disk Space: 10 GB free

Video Memory: 2 GB

Video Card: AMD HD 7700/ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or better, PhysX support

Sound: DirectX 11 Compliant

If that all sounds good, head over to register for Battleborn’s closed beta here. Please be aware that registering does not guarantee you a place in the beta, however.
