I’m not sure if love can be bought, or what a reasonable price would be. I would probably say I loved you if you bought me a puppy, for instance, but would I mean it? The only way to find out is to buy me a puppy, I suppose.
EA has been exploring the price of love a lot, lately. With it’s Game Time and On the House programs, it’s been flinging games at people for free. Today it makes another attempt with Bejeweled 3, which you can download for free on Origin.
I hear the game has its fans, though I’ve never been able to really get into the whole matching gems things. Although I do like the Puzzle Quest games, so I suppose it’s all about context. I don’t care about gems, but slap some Marvel or RPG branding on top of it and I’m sold.
The third outing seems to be a big one, with eight game modes and more precious stones than you could possibly fit in a large bag of swag.
Like all the On the House deals, it’s a temporary, fleeting thing, and it ends on October 28th. So grab it quick if it’s your cup of tea.
