BioShock Infinite DLC ‘Burial at Sea’ Episode 1 available on November 12th

Elizabeth and Rapture

You all loved Rapture, didn’t you? I’d bet you’d give anything to go back there agai- oh look, some BioShock Infinite DLC that lets you do just that! 2k and Irrational Games have announced the release date for the first episode of their ‘Burial at Sea’ content expansion.

This will be the second piece of DLC released for BioShock Infinite, and it lets you experience Rapture as you’ve never experienced it before. Booker and Elizabeth will be involved in a brand new film-noir story that takes place in a “shining, pristine Rapture, on the eve of its fall from grace”, and you get to explore everyone’s favourite underwater city which has been re-built from scratch using the BioShock Infinite engine.

There is also going to be a greater emphasis on stealth and resource management, and they made tweaks and changes to the balancing to reflect this. Other new content includes a new weapon, a returning favourite weapon from BioShock, the weapon wheel makes a comeback, and there’s new Plasmids, Gear, Tears and so on…

Burial at Sea Episode 1 will retail for £9.99, although you can get it ‘for free’ if you buy the BioShock Infinite Season Pass, which is £15.99. That pass will also grant you access to the previously released Clash in the Clouds add-on pack, and the Early Bird Special Pack. You’ll also get Burial at Sea Episode 2 when it is eventually released, which brings “something [gamers] have been asking for since they first met the character of Elizabeth: the chance to see the world through her eyes and face challenges as she would.”

I wonder what that could mean.
