Bioshock Infinite launch trailer shows the world going all topsy turvy

We’re just a few short hours till the release of Bioshock Infinite. For those of us who have preordered the game, you could this moment be preloading the game, readying it for midnight. What could you possibly do to fill the time between now and the moment you hit play?

Well, the launch trailer driven by its awesome Nico Vega soundtrack could while away a few minutes.

If the trailer’s anything to go by, Booker’s trip through Columbia is going to be far from a cakewalk. The trailer does a great job of showing off something of the enemy variety in the soon-to-be-released Bioshock: Infinite. In particular the special enemies like the Siren and the Handymen look like a fascinating foes, mainly because of the focus the artists have placed on their principal organs – I love the gramophone styled diving bell helmet of the Siren and those large automata hands on the Handymen.

Then, of course, there’s the Songbird. That great metal eagle. The way it moves seems so violent and determined. Can’t wait to go toe to talon with the thing.

From the use of Nico Vega in two of the trailers for the game, both Beast of America and now Fury Oh Fury, I hope we can expect more of their work in the game. They’re a grandly dirty band and make for a great soundtrack.

Two and a half hours to go till release. Eep.
