Have you heard about the return of zombies in Call of Duty: Black Ops III? You should’ve by now, as Activision and Treyarch aren’t going to stop plugging it any time soon. Just a couple of days ago they released a new trailer which looks bloody fun – now they’ve got and released an entirely new trailer, which heralds the return of the fan favourite zombie map, Der Riese.
“Zombies returns in all of its undead glory with “The Giant,” a Nazi research facility featuring the weapon upgrading Pack-A-Punch Machine.” reads the description. “Re-live the chaos of Treyarch’s classic “Der Riese” Zombies map, picking up the Zombies story with Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo where Origins left off.”
It looks like a hell of a lot of fun – I spent a lot of hours in Call of Duty: World at War doing splitscreen Der Riese back in college.
The only problem I see with this lovely recreation, is the fact that it seems to be only included in the deluxe edition of the game, which is a whopping £69.99/$99.99.
I’m not sure they can claw me back on this one.
