Company of Heros 2 has been released; read our Company of Heroes 2 review to find out our verdict.

When Relic was bought by SEGA from the remants of THQ the Collector’s Edition of Company of Heroes 2 disappeared from Steam, leaving all mystified as to what was going on. The standard version remained but that was your run of the mill GI grub compared to a Collector’s Edtion, coming with a few TF2 hats and a couple of cursory tank skins.

Now Relic have started selling the Collector’s Edition again and, well, if you thought two skins was something to brag about, you’re going to feel pretty insignificant now, let me tell you.

The new pre-order package comes with:

Vehicle Skin Combo Pack (for vehicle skin combo action!)

  • 24 Vehicle Skins

Exclusive Collector Faceplate (a face so good you could eat off it)

  • Collector’s Edition Faceplate with Integrated Badge – Commander Archetypes

  • Soviet Commanders

    • Anti-Infantry Tactics

    • Conscript Support Tactics

    • Terror Tactics

  • German Commanders

    • Joint Operations Doctrine

    • Spearhead Doctrine

Commander Pass (for access to the in-game hot tub, presumably)

  • Access to Five Commander Archetype’s Available Post-Launch – Theater of War Mini Pack

  • Post Launch Content Bundle

Company of Heroes Complete Pack (no gaps to be had in your collection)

  • The Award Winning Game Collection that Started it All

You can pick up a copy of the Collector’s Edition over on Steam. Buying either editions of the game gets you instant access to the game’s beta.

If you bought the previous Collector’s Edition you’ll find that you’ve been automatically updated to the new issue.
