Company of Heros 2 has been released; read our Company of Heroes 2 review to find out our verdict.

Keep your rifles loaded and the artillery firing, the Company of Heroes 2 Open Beta has been extended! You can keep waging the war for the Eastern Front until midnight PDT on Sunday, 23rd June.

The extension follows ‘overwhelming’ demand that Relic allowed people to continue playing, despite the full game being released in under a week. To keep things spicy, Relic have added a few new maps to the rotation for beta testers to sample, along with a full progression tree to provide the full experience. The beta will conclude with a double XP weekend over the 22nd and 23rd June, applicable to any game played through the automatch system.

Any progress made in the beta can be preserved for use in the full game, so long as players purchase Company of Heroes 2 within 60 days and lock it to the Steam account the beta was played on.

Shipped with this news comes a new developer diary detailing the game’s multiplayer ambitions.

Company of Heroes 2 launches 25th June.
