ESL One Cologne

ESL has sold out Europe's largest hockey arena, the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, for next week's CS:GO tournament ESL One.

With that many people excited it's not hard to see why CS:GO is one of the top FPS games on PC.

The arena will seat 14,000 in the configuration required for watching 16 of the world's best teams duke it out on a massive screen for $1 million prize money.

The Valve Major, which returns to Cologne for the third year running, will be broadcast through Twitch, Azubu, Yahoo! and Hitbox from July 5 to the grand finals on July 10.

“We’re incredibly excited to see so many CS:GO fans from all over the world travelling to Cologne for ESL One," said Ulrich Schulze, VP or pro gaming at ESL. "The world’s top CS:GO teams, a sold out arena and the array of side activities we have lined up for visitors will definitely make for an exciting and memorable esports weekend."
