Valve release Counter-Strike: Global Offensive cinematic

It must be tricky to find yourself promoting a game now 11 years old, tasked with defining an experience so well-known by so many. You might as well put together a launch trailer for breathing. But, as is their wont, Valve have done it anyway.

What strikes me is the differences drawn in physicality between the counter-terrorists - organised, cautious - and their prey - lithe, bold - when mechanically we know them to be identical. There’s plenty of artistic license, and all in Valve’s attractive post-TF2 animation style.

Still, 11 years in 38 seconds. Blimey.

Earlier tonight, we heard that an updated Zombie Mod will launch alongside CS:GO next week.
