Dark Souls 3 season pass details leaked, two DLC packs expected

Dark Souls 3 season pass

It looks like From Software’s forthcoming perpetual death ‘em up Dark Souls 3 is getting a season pass. Leaked earlier on the Australian Xbox Store, the pass will be tied to the game’s digital Deluxe Edition, however no price was set ahead of its April 12 release.

Dark Souls 3 is by far the game I’m most looking forward to this year. Which of our upcoming PC games do you have your eye on?

The listing has since been removed from the Xbox store, however Videogamer report it to have noted two DLC packs will come “at a discounted price” via the pass, and that it’ll include “new maps, bosses, enemies and additional weapon and armor sets”.

Again, no mention of how much the season pass will cost – nor when the expansions will be released – was made, however the post did say it’ll be included alongside the Dark Souls 3 digital Deluxe Edition listed at $137.70 AUD – the equivalent of £68/$99. How these prices translate to PC remains to be seen.

Bandai Namco have not formally announced DLC plans for Dark Souls 3 yet but we’ve reached out for comment and will update as and when we hear back.

Thanks, Videogamer.
