Get ready for a massive electricity bill – PS4 Remote Play lands on PC tomorrow

Uncharted 4

Remote Play launches for PlayStation 4 tomorrow, April 6, just in time for a couple of sexy-looking exclusives.

For now, just play through our list of the best PC games.

It might not be quite as good news as the recent trend of Xbox One’s exclusives finding their way onto Windows, but PS4 Remote Play on PC means you’ll at least be able to play PS4-only games when the TV is occupied, assuming you have the console.

What exclusives am I talking about? Well, Bloodborne is obligatory playing, as now’s about the best time to get stuck into FromSoftware’s speedy slant on the Souls formula, just ahead of the release of Dark Souls 3 on April 12. Then there’s Until Dawn, a cheesy horror flick via videogame that’s surprisingly excellent.

And looking to the future, Ratchet and Clank is getting the remaster treatment, with an almost unrecognisable revisit to Sony’s platformer landing on April 22. And that’s without mentioning the most obvious upcoming exclusive, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which ends Nathan Drake’s treasure hunting saga on May 10.

No matter how powerful your rig is, there’s no denying how gorgeous the Naughty Dog game is. Just look at it:

The PlayStation 4 update, which launches tomorrow, will support Remote Play on PCs running Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or later, and Mac OS X 10.10 and 10.11.
