Diablo 3 Season 3 Patch 2.2

Blizzard have formally announced the end of Diablo 3’s Season 2, and with it the date of Season 3. Sunday, April 5th will mark the end of the current Season, while Friday, April 10th will mark the start of Season 3. During the downtime, it’s highly likely that the current PTR patch, 2.2, will be applied to the game, bringing with it a torrent of new content.

To make sure you’re prepared for both the end of Season 2, and the beginning of Season 3, here’s the full regional end and start times:

Season 2 will be ending at the following dates and times for each region:

  • North America: Sunday, April 5 @ 9:00 p.m. PDT
  • Europe: Sunday, April 5 @ 9:00 p.m. CEST
  • Asia: Sunday, April 5 @ 9:00 p.m. KST

Season 3 will be starting shortly after at the following dates and times for each region:

  • North America: Friday, April 10 @ 6:00 p.m. PDT
  • Europe: Friday, April 10 @ 6:00 p.m. CEST
  • Asia: Friday, April 10 @ 6:00 p.m. KST

Patch 2.2 is currently being tested in the PTR servers; the latest revision went out only a couple of days ago. Class skills have been rebalanced and new legendaries added – including the new class sets. You can check out the preliminary patch notes right here to start preparing, as it will very likely be implemented in the downtime between Season 2 and Season 3.
