Dirty Bomb weekend stress test starts today; will include over 100,000 players

Splash Damage and Nexon America are getting ready to invite over 100,000 players to take part in the first of two weekend stress tests for their “hardcore” first-person shooter, Dirty Bomb. The test will take place within Steam using dedicated servers, taking advantage of Valve’s Steamworks for all its matchmaking needs.

To get potential new players up to speed, Splash Damage has released a training video to give players a few last minute tips.

There will be two stress test weekends – the first of which begins in just under an hour from writing.

  • Friday, Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. PST / 5 p.m. GMT through Monday, Feb. 23 at 9 a.m. PST / 5 p.m. GMT.
  • Friday, March 6 at 9 a.m. PST / 5 p.m. GMT through Monday, March 9 at 9 a.m. PST / 5 p.m. GMT.
