Bethesda reveal Dishonored system specs

Comment

Over on the Bethblog, the Dishonored devs have just revealed the system specs for their first-person, open-ended poltergeist game. You need to enter your date of birth to view them, mind, so I've reproduced them below. Meanwhile, I just told Bethesda I was born in 1911, which potentially set off a tiny alarm in their demographics department.

Here's the minimum:

  • OS: Windows Vista / Windows 7
  • Processor: 3.0 GHz dual core or better
  • Memory: 4 GB system RAM
  • Hard Disk Space: 9 GB
  • Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible with 512 MB video RAM or better (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850)
  • Sound: Windows compatible sound card

And the recommended:

  • OS: Windows Vista / Windows 7
  • Processor: 2.4 GHz quad core or better
  • Memory: 4 GB system RAM
  • Hard Disk Space: 9 GB
  • Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible with 768 MB video RAM or better (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850)
  • Sound: Windows compatible sound card

Bit of an ask for low-end systems, by the looks of it. To see what all of that hardware will be churning out, here's a look at the game's 'creative kills'. It has rats! Murderous rats!
