Dota 2’s 6.88d patch continues to nerf TI6 top dogs and a surprise pub stomper

dota_2_patch_688_1

Dota’s latest balance patch sees Faceless Void and Shadow Demon continue to pay the price for their stellar TI6 performances while Arc Warden also feels the brunt of the nerf gun.

Here are the best Dota 2 players right now.

Though we are now – just about – into the fall season, the much larger post-International patch has yet to arrive, but Icefrog is still keeping tabs on the meta emplaced by pro performances in Seattle.

He has also taken it upon himself to clip a rising pub star before he gets too out of control (again) as Arc Warden gets a couple of unrequested but quite welcome nerfs. The duplicating demon has seen his pick rate, and win rate, rise sharply since the end of The International and with his Captain’s Mode debut surely arriving soon, he can’t be too broken.
