EVE Fanfest 2013 schedule published. A little of everything, including a wedding

It’s been a big year for CCP, it’s the 10 year anniversary of EVE Online’s launch and also the year they launched their PS3 tie-in game, DUST 514, so the developer is putting on a pretty major show for this year’s Fanfest.

If you were able to get hold of a ticket before they all sold out then it looks like you’re in for a real treat, there’s panels aplenty, parties, PvP events, and even a wedding to go to.

When it comes to the talks, being the game’s 10 year anniversary, two of my personal highlights are a round table that looks back on EVE’s developing economy and also a panel on how CCP are dealing with writing new story for the game while incorporating the actions of their players.

As well as all the round table talks discussing the developer’s discoveries of the past year and their plans for the future of both EVE and DUST, each day there are also special events such as pub crawls, club nights, movie mornings, charity dinners, temporary tattoo parlours, and poker tournaments. It’s really, truly, ridiculously brilliant.

The festivities kick off on 25 April and run right through to Saturday, ending with the now traditional Party at the Top of the World, which this year has Skálmöld, Retro Stefson, RoXoR, DJ Margeir, and DJ Z-Trip headlining.

You can check out the full schedule here.

If you weren’t able to pick up a ticket then not to worry: all the talks are being streamed.
