Use this sick note for Fallout 4, courtesy of Bethesda

Fallout 4 sick note

Fallout 4 launches later today, midnight GMT, which means that tomorrow will be our first full day with the game. And it’s a big game, too, and one that you might not fancy waiting until you finish work to play.

With that in mind, Pete Hines, VP of marketing and PR at Bethesda, has you covered with a totally legit sick note.

If you’re looking for a way to take a day off work or school, then all you need to do is present this completely official doctor’s note from Hines that he has conveniently posted on Twitter.

One of the unfortunate things about working in this industry is that it’s not very easy to take a sick day for the launch of a big game. If I were to suddenly come down with a Fallout 4-related illness, I suspect that Joel might be wise to my lies.

Your boss or teachers might not be as savvy as the editor of a gaming site, however, so why not take the chance and practise coughing down the phone.
