Minecraft's city of Adamantis: one player, three months and sixty million blocks

The Minecraft community is an extraordinary thing and we get to see impressive, imaginative builds every. Then, once in a blue moon, something truly extraordinary comes along, something that sends us reeling with its scale and its style. The city of Adamantis is just such a build, a gorgeous, enormous, elaborate and multi-tiered creation that's more like a palace than anything else.
What's more, it's the work of just one person and, much as Rome wasn't built in a day, Adamantis didn't come quickly. It took creator jamdelaney1 three months to complete, during which some sixty million blocks were laid down. Sixty million. Click through to see more images, a video and to just, y'know, be amazed.
I see clever new machines and exciting, elaborate constructions coming out of the Minecraft community all the time and I'm constantly inspired. But today I want to show you something I think is extra-special yet also remarkably simple, and it's that simplicity that has impressed me.

Having placed my ear firmly against my BT Homehub, I can tell you that word on the internet is that a near complete list of Black Ops 2 multiplayer maps has been leaked. The list has allegedly been extracted from the Black Ops 2 internal beta and contains the names and descriptions of 14 multiplayer maps, which I've dutifully reproduced for you below. Is it authentic? Is it lies? It's missing the Nuketown map, and that's been confirmed to appear, but it does contain the names of maps shown at this year's Gamescom. It could go either way, really. Here's something you might've overlooked amidst all the 
Oh YouTube, is there anything you won't leak? Two new MW3 map names have allegedly been spotted floating around a map list in a private game. The sighting follows the 1.15 update on Playstation 3, and sheds light on the next DLC drop. The maps, titled Terminal and Shipbreaker, disappear once selected however, like coy, sexy ghosts. Terminal shares its name with a Modern Warfare 2 map, suggesting the return of that game's finest death-arenas in Modern Warfare 3. Which is nice.
