World of Warplanes, Tanks and Battleships to share experience: Wargaming want you to be “comfortable grinding where you want to grind” The last time we met Wargaming.net, the slightly adorable madmen behind World of Tanks, Battleships and Warplanes, we had a chance to chat about their plans to unite the games under one online service. While the plans are still under-development the team are talking of shared XP pools, shared medals, and more.

Speaking with PCGamesN, Wargaming CEO Victor Kislyi also revealed that it would be a “one battle universe" and that there would be experience transfer across the games. “You will be able to transfer experience from one game to another, comfortably grinding where you want to grind, and you can spend your experience in another game."

World of Tanks expands again, introduces Chinese tanksSay what you like about Wargaming, say what you like about tanks, write a 500 word opinion piece on cannons for The Guardian if you want, hire a skywriter to express your true feelings about armoured warfare in the clouds if that's what you're into, just say what you like about Wargaming, but they do put together a damn fine trailer. British tanks are finally coming in World of Tanks update 8.1This trailer for the all new British tanks coming to World of Tanks in the 8.1 update ends with a tank — one of our beloved metal buddies — firing its cannon at us, the innocent viewers, thus revealing the World of Tanks logo. For that reason, I suggest you absorb all of this lovely information about British armour and then avert your eyes before the cheeky tank can take a pop at your face.

Company of Heroes 2 hands on: smoke gets in your eyes

I’m only playing a demonstration level of the sequel to Relic’s World War 2 RTS, so I appreciate that it’s going pretty easy on me. It’ll be generous to me whenever I make a mistake because it has all sorts it wants to show off. Still, it feels all too apt that, every time I screw up and get another of my Soviet squads killed, the game just sends another one forward to replace it. I guess success comes at any price.

World of Tanks 8.0 update overhauls the after action report

World of Tanks 8.0 update overhauls the after action reportCall it a hunch, but I’m pretty sure that the same kind of people that obsess over tanks, and the modules that you can put in them, with all their fancy names and ever-so-slightly-different model numbers, are going to also be the sort of people that really enjoy getting a detailed breakdown, in stat form, of everything that just happened in the tank-based carnage of a World of Tanks match. Wargaming.net seems to agree, which is why the 8.0 patch is going to bring a completely overhauled after action report.
