Firaxis is hosting its second Firaxicon this October. The developer started up the convention last year, and it will kick off on October 3rd at the Baltimore Convention Center.
Tickets are on sale now. If you fancy going, here’s what’s on the docket:
- Meet and greet members of the Firaxis team
- Enjoy in-depth panels hosted by the lead developers of XCOM and Civilization: Beyond Earth, as well as legendary game designer Sid Meier
- Experience Civilization: Beyond Earth – Rising Tide and XCOM 2 prior to launch;
- Play board games against (and with) Firaxis Games’ designers
- Participate in fun community giveaways, challenges and competitions offering various XCOM and Civ themed prizes
- Get exclusive and commemorative merchandise
A ticket will set you back £26, but if you can’t make it, there will be a stream hosted by Gamespot.
