ArenaNet show off Guild Wars: Heart of Thorns Guild Halls and detail pricing

Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns Guild Halls

ArenaNet has raise the curtain on Guild Halls at this year’s E3 PC Gaming Show, detailing how they work going into the first Guild Wars 2 expansion: Heart of Thorns. Players will need to claim their new home from their evil denizens, before calling it their own. After the cleansing, guilds can construct buildings, decorate, and even brawl in their very own PVP arena.

The developers have also revealed the various editions that will be on sale, their contents, and their prices. You can also pre-purchase the expansion today.

First, lets take a look at Guild Halls.

ArenaNet are excited for players to get their hands on Guild Halls, and to start mining their exclusive features.

“Guild halls in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns are so much more than the name implies, they are a body of features that will represent one of the deepest community and social focused systems of any online game world,” said game director Colin Johanson. “At their core, guild halls are maps that guilds can own, progress, decorate, customise and grow. They include a customisable brawling arena, a war room to build tools to go to war against other guilds in World vs. World PvP, a new crafting discipline called the Scribe, and that’s just a few of the highlights. As a whole the features are designed to emphasise community, give players a place to call their own and build a shared history in the game, and even activate player creativity in ways that have yet to be seen.”
