Guild Wars 2 is built to be a social game. “The more the merrier” they say. To help, developers ArenaNet are inviting you to bring your friends into Tyria next weekend. The good news: next weekend isn’t any ordinary weekend. It’s the same weekend they will be introducing The Lost Shores to the denizens of Tyria.
Spotted on the Guild Wars 2 forums, Martin Kerstein the Head of Global Community gave players a heads up on the incoming Refer a Friend announcement. “We want you to experience Guild Wars 2 and Lost Shores with your friends, so on Monday November 12, we will turn on Refer a Friend Free Trial. You will be able to invite up to 3 Friends to play Guild Wars 2 with you for free from November 15-18.”
Although I’m sure it’s not a problem, ”you need a Guild Wars 2 account in good standing that was created before 23:59 PST (7:59 GMT) on November 6.” explained Martin.
We will have more information once the trial starts, but for now start thinking on who you want to invite.
