The latest Humble Bundle contains only games that have attained an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam. So if you want several massively acclaimed new games to play, you can get them now for

If you’re looking for more quality at less cost, check out our list of the best free PC games.

In case you don’t know how Humble Bundle works, you can pay whatever you like for the lowest tier. If you beat the average payment that everyone else is making, you unlock the next tier, and if you pay more than Humble Bundle’s price, you’ll unlock the top tier. Each tier contains a bundle of games.

This time round, you can pay what you want (even as little as 1p, if you’re feeling thrifty), and get platformer Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse (rated 97%), JRPG Epic Battle Fantasy 4 (98%) and limbo-based puzzle game Pony Island (96%).

If you pay more than the average, you’ll get two further games: hardcore stealth-action hybrid Deadbolt (95%) and the remaster of classic 1990s SCUMM point-and-click adventure Day of the Tentacle (98%, and deservedly so). Humble Bundle promise that more games will be added to this tier in six days.

If you pay $10 US (about £8.23) or more, you’ll unlock the top tier, with ‘cyberpunk bartender action’ game VA-11 Hall-A (98%) and slick momentum platformer N++ (97%). Obviously, unlocking higher tiers will give all games in the lower tiers, so for $10 you can get ten critically acclaimed games.
