Shadowrun will be returning on 25th July, and is currently playable in alpha state to the game’s Kickstarter backers. One of those backers has uploaded thirty minutes of footage onto YouTube for your viewing pleasure, so you can get a dose of cyberpunk turn-based action before official release.
The game’s RPG systems hark back to Shadowrun’s pen-and-paper origins, and thus is a turn-based system not unlike XCOM. So if you enjoyed that particular flavour of combat, but would rather it was served up in a more plot-heavy narrative wrapper, then step this way.
