Just Cause 3’s system requirements have officially been released by developer Avalanche Studios, and while you’ll hardly need to SLI a trio of 970s to run Rico’s sandbox, the recommended specs aren’t exactly insubstantial.

A 3GB GTX 780 is hardly chump change territory, but seeing as Avalanche recently released a video of Just Cause 3 in 4K, this is a game that has seemingly been designed to push your rig.
The game is out December 1st. Personally, I loved Just Cause 2 – it was glorious fun to muck about in. If the sequel can maintain those wonderful traversal mechanics, and finally insert some non-shonky story missions, you may just be in for another sandbox Christmas treat.
