A few of Europe’s top League of Legends teams compete for a €15,000 grand prize in the Tales of the Lane tournament, a small tournament funded by audience donations, in addition to support from Riot. It’s attracted a small but impressive group of competitors, six of whom survived today’s pool play to move onto the tomorrow’s playoff.

Today (Sunday) at 7:30 PM GMT / 3:30 Eastern, Curse EU plays mousesports in a best of three, followed by Team ALTERNATE going up against Eclypsia. The winners will move on to face SK Gaming and Moscow Five in the semifinal on Nov. 11. The English language stream is available through O’Gaming TV.

While tomorrow’s games take place online, the semifinals and final will be hosted live at the Casino de Paris. Casting the games are Leigh “Deman” Smith and Joshua “Jatt” Leesman, who called the League of Legends championship final two weeks ago.

Eliminated in today’s group play were Fnatic RC, Tt Dragons, IWantCookie, and Meet Your Makers, although IWantCookie managed to hand M5 a shocking and total defeat, their only loss of the day. IWC failed to move on, however, and despite that defeat it’s hard to see Moscow 5 as anything but heavy favorites to win the tournament.
