BioWare will announce PC specs for Mass Effect: Andromeda in February

Mass Effect Andromeda Barren Planet

With everyone’s sights set on a March 21 release date, BioWare can finally start to filter out information on the highly anticipated fourth installment of the Mass Effect franchise. As Mass Effect: Andromeda is launching on PC at the same time as the console version, many want to double check their system specs, just in case an upgrade is in order before the big day.

If space is your thing, take a peek at some of the PC’s greatest space games.

Answering fan questions on Twitter, BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn announced that details on the PC specs will be available sometime in February, closer to the game’s actual launch.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is no doubt undergoing final pre-flight checks when it comes to performance and stability, so it’s still up in the air as to what systems it will perform on. Flynn also hinted that details on Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer will be released soon, but did not elaborate any further.

As for other news for the PC port, lead designer on Andromeda Ian S. Frazer has confirmed that controllers will be supported alongside mouse and keyboard on launch. I’m still waiting on that official Omnitool controller, but we’ve still got two months so plenty of time to make it.

Thanks, VG24/7.
