The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot trailer has eagle ghosts, hostile hamsters, and a chicken army

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is out now; check out our Mighty Quest for Epic Loot review.

While the last trailer for The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, Ubisoft’s free-to-play mashup of Diablo and Dungeon Keeper, introduced warrior knight Sir Painhammer and showed off how you’d be building a castle filled with traps to cut interloping heroes into tiny pieces, the latest trailer shows off the acrobatic archer and traps of a more bestial variety.

Hamsters powering blade-lined wheels. How are PETA going to feel about that one?

Mighty Quest’s playfulness is a real draw, everything from the characters through to the game’s architecture seems bursting with life. And when killing foes brings forth a plume of gold coins and loot it’d be hard going into a friend’s castle without chanting “Thwack thwackity thwack” as you swing your sword into chickens, spiders, and hamsters.

The game’s already in beta, which you can sign up for over here. And, judging by Steve’s time with the game, it would be wise to get yourself on Ubi’s roster for the free-to-play dungeon crawler/creator.

Cheers, RPS.
