Minecraft porn has seen a lot of, ahem, recent growth on Pornhub

Minecraft porn

So today I learned that Minecraft porn is a thing lots of people are searching for on the internet. Though a proportion of these statistics are seemingly some sort of hipster Let’s Play connoisseurs, the search terms used show that the majority of visitors are just there for some Mine-shafting.

If you enjoy spreading your seed while looking at Minecraft porn, perhaps you’ll also enjoy our list of the best Minecraft seeds. In fact, you’ll probably enjoy them anyway!

According to the stats released by Pornhub, searches for Minecraft have increased a total of 326% on the self help site since January 2014, with 108% of that growth happening in 2015.

There’s a spike in this traffic – an erection, if you will – when something big happens in the world of Minecraft. For example, when Microsoft showed Minecraft running on HoloLens there was a 154% increase in these searches. Imagine being that excited about a game announcement.

What are these people searching for, though? Well, the top search term is simply ‘Minecraft’, followed by ‘Minecraft porn’, ‘Minecraft hentai’, ‘Minecraft sex’, and the very specific ‘Minecraft hard drilling’. I suppose it suits the theme of the game, at least.

You might assume that these people have confused Pornhub’s search engine with Google’s, but that logic is smashed to bits when Pornhub reveal the stats on the previous search terms of these visitiors.

Apparently the average wanker clicks through eight pages before getting the job done, and these Minecraft searchers generally look for other videogame related smut before settling on a blocky boner.

“Just before searching for Minecraft, the most searched for term is ‘halo’ followed by ‘clash of clans’ and ‘call of duty’,” write Pornhub on their blog. “Apparently if ‘lego’ and ‘pokemon’ porn aren’t doing the trick, it’s worth trying some Minecraft.”

The more you know.
