Minimum opens its gates to Early Access ticket holders

Minimum

Minimum, the five-vs-five craft-a-weapon FPSMOBA that’s lead a troubled life, has made its appearance on Steam Early Access. If you missed last week’s beta testing period and are desperate to engage in its blocky fun, then this is your opportunity, should your pockets run deep enough.

Atari’s resurrected shooter comes in at £14.99/$19.99 and is currently in the beta stage of development. The Steam catalogue entry details a list of updates that are due in the coming months, with new armour, structures, weapons, and game modes due before the end of July.

Considering Minimum’s protracted development and rocky gestation period, it’s unsurprising that Atari would fire it into the Early Access ranks in hope of quickly recuperating some costs. But Minimum’s two previous beta tests have gone well, and the game – whilst unfinished – does seem at this stage an ideal candidate for the scheme.

Have you played Minimum in it’s open beta weekend? And would you consider paying for the game at this stage of its development?

Thanks, SegmentNext.
