Motorsport Manager is as much about keeping engineers happy as it is revving engines

A new, lengthy Motorsport Manager trailer shows how the game will handle the parts of a team that don’t involve driving around a track. There’s drivers to keep happy while nursing rivalries, mechanics to manage, relationships to maintain in the hopes of getting bonuses and contracts to negotiate.

As for vrooms, here are the best racing games on PC.

It’s interesting stuff. In the same way that Football Manager shows much more goes into a club than scoring goals and saving penalties, Motorsport Manager wants to make it clear that it’s all about the brains behind the wheels, not just the horsepower. Building a team from the ground-up might mean selling good drivers to get more money, or hiring a dodgy mechanic along with his star driver because they already work so well together.

Originally a mobile app, the PC version will hit in September of this year.
