NVIDIA Showcase Gears of War 4

PCGamesN Nvidia Showcase posts are created in partnership with Nvidia.

On October 11, the massively anticipated fourth major installment in the Gears of War saga officially launches worldwide on PC. Set a 25 years after Gears of War 3, Gears of War 4 casts players as J.D. Fenix, son of Marcus Fenix and Anya Stroud, in an epic journey where he’ll face off against a deadly new adversary.

Ahead of its release, a new video provides a glimpse at what Gears of War 4 looks like running on a powerful gaming PC equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU. The video shows the game running in 1080p Ultra Settings, which players can enable on a rig equipped with a GTX 1080.

The second gameplay video below reveals footage of Gears of War 4’s all-new reimagined edition of the multiplayer map, Gridlock, which has been recreated to embody the game’s bold “reclaimed beauty” visual style present throughout the new Gears.

If you want to get the stunning visuals featured in the gameplay videos above, you will want to make sure your PC or laptop is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 series GPU. And now you can score a free download of Gears of War 4 on PC by purchasing a new qualifying GTX 1080, GTX 1070 graphic card, system, or notebook.
