Origin’s latest On the House promotion gave out free copies of Command and Conquer Red Alert 2, along with its expansion. It seems like that was quite popular, as EA have had to take the sale down for now while their servers repair.
It doesn’t seem like the best tactic for showing off how robust the service is.
But at least EA are doing the right thing and offering something else as a replacement in the meantime – although it is something that has been on the offer previously. However, if you missed Theme Hospital last time it was On the House, you can grab it now.
Ah, Theme Hospital – I have memories of popping enlarged heads and covering mouse holes with vending machines from my childhood. Let’s have a little nostalgia trip, shall we?
Presumably Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 will be going back up at some point in the next few days, so why not keep an eye out and grab both.
