More levels and chefs on the way to Overcooked as it serves up free Christmas DLC

Overcooked DLC

Update December 2, 2016: A free portion of Christmas-themed DLC is heading to Overcooked next week, serving up snowy suppers in the co-op cooking game.

Overcooked’s Festive Seasoning DLC adds a festive map that you can navigate in a snowmobile, two new unlockable chefs – the snowman and the reindeer, both of whom can be fitted with Santa hats – and two new recipes for serving: a turkey dinner and a winter stew.

You’ll cook your way through eight new levels and the expansion also includes a new flamethrower tool. Try not to burn the food though, eh? Check out the trailer above for more.

Overcooked’s Festive Seasoning DLC will be available to download from December 6.

Original Story November 15, 2016: Culinary couch co-op game Overcooked is serving up seconds with a new DLC that adds extra levels, more cooks (hopefully not too many, as you know what they say), and a helicopter to navigate the world map.

The Last Morsel DLC will have you argue with your pals in all-new scenarios that take place in an “exotic jungle world” filled with prehistoric platters.

You can check out the trailer embedded above for a quick look.

Here’s what it adds:

  • 6 new campaign levels set in a new jungle theme
  • 6 new chefs to unlock including the Dinosaur, Robot, French Bulldog, Panda, Bear and Pig
  • New helicopter vehicle to navigate around the DLC world map

Overcooked – The Last Morsel is on Steam now for $4.99.
