What’s the natural evolution of Plants vs Zombies, the tower defense game that had you defend your garden from waves of nasty zombies? A third-person four-player co-op shooter, apparently.
That said, as unlikely a fit for the series as Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare seems, it’s did look both wonderfully colourful and wonderfully silly.
It looks like the game has you taking the fight to the zombies this time, with Crazy Dave ordering you to plant a garden next to the zombie’s home mansion.
Each player takes control of a different form of plant from the original game – we saw peashooters, chompers, and Mexican chillies all make an appearance.
The game is due out later this year.
