I think there's a degree of truth in this, but I genuinely do think the bosses are easier on the whole. I was able to use my starting sword for the whole game!
It's the Dunning-Kruger effect; you're underestimating your own skill level and passing it off to the game. Just because you're not a onebro doesn't mean you're a total noob either. The game may very well be easier but you (and I) are not in a position to objectively verify that.
If you really want to check you need to find a newbro and have them play the beginnings of both.
Dark Souls 3 is great, but it's a bit… easy

Have you noticed that according to the widget timer the Beta key giveaway ends at approx 11pm on the 18th. That's 15 hours AFTER the beta actually starts. Just thought you should know :)
Nope, not a paid for article - we just have an opinion.
And seeing as the game is out in just over six weeks and we've played it for numerous hours, certain value judgements don't seem outrageous at this point.
I want this to be good. These guys made World in Conflict and that is one of my favorite PC games. May I ask, did you have access to the actual PVE portion with some campaign missions? Do you know if the access you had will differ from the beta that starts on 1/29/16? I'm just wondering because I got access and I'm hoping it's not all PVP.
