Was quite impressed with the War Thunder Ships, as a skirmish its good fun, visuals and water are pretty neat too. Clearly this is looking ahead to larger things.

As much as I love zombie games I've always avoided this, is it still a case of more likely to be robbed or murdered by the player base in the game than the actual zombies in this , does that malevolence still exist or are players more willing to trade and give you a chance?Reply

Players are definitely more dangerous than zombies, but that's never going to change. They have guns and resources and smarts that zombies don't have. That said, zombies do now pose a genuine threat.

There are always going to be players who will kill on sight. I think it's fine, as it means you always have to be on guard. There are loads of players who are more interested in roleplaying, cooperating, trading and what not, however.

Why are gamers awful to each other? The psychology of online abuseWhy are gamers awful to each other? The psychology of online abuse

It's faceless, abusers hide behind the 'electronic veil' which automatically empowers them to say what they like to who they like without any fear of reciprocal punishment or retaliation. This 'social currency' is their outlet and theirs to spend among their own peer groups. You'll never solve it or eradicate it. Welcome to the internet.

Star Wars Battlefront won't feature Force Awakens content because EA can't violate universe canonStar Wars Battlefront won't feature Force Awakens content because EA can't violate universe canon

Interesting as well since EA sent out a massive questionnaire in December which asked if 'you would like to see Prequel trilogy content added to Battlefront'...to which I promptly replied "no". Unfortunately there wasn't an option to write 'I would rather remove the skin off my face with a rusty fork". TFA content in Battlefront just doesn't work and that's a fairly simple concept to grasp why. Besides, there more than enough content from the original films to build DLC, they just need to overhaul the way credits are used, rank 50 cap ceiling and build in more motivation for players beyond daily challenges.

Topic of the Week: What do you want to see in Star Wars BattlefrontTopic of the Week: What do you want to see in Star Wars Battlefront

I think DICE have everything to prove, they dented their 'crown' with BF4 and need to start earning the respect they had before from scratch.

That being said, if a 40 player cap means more destructible environments that have an impact on tactics and strategy and it means a more playable game then I'm fine with it.

The ability to totally modify character classes, coloured Pauldrons for Stormtroopers and the ability to board and fight inside AT-AT's while they walk would be cool. More than that though I just hope DICE don't cock this up.

"Hawken is here to stay" says publisher Meteor Entertainment after months of silence"Hawken is here to stay" says publisher Meteor Entertainment after months of silence

Good news but not quite correct, Meteor Entertainment shut its doors in December 2013 and there is no publishing division there now.

But good luck to Reloaded who no doubt have lots of work to do on player progression and content which is where Hawken needs it most. @Stranger - the game died because all the VC cash was spent, it had none left by Oct 2013.
