Square Enix files new Deux Ex: Human Defiance trademark

Deus_Ex_HR

Somebody who works for Square Enix has written the words ‘Deus Ex: Human Defiance’ on a piece of legal paper and slipped it in the vacuum tube leading straight to Trademarks HQ, suggesting that the publisher may be working on a follow up to 2011’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Perhaps. Those bits of legal paper can mean anything.

Spotted by NeoGAF and reported by CVG, the trademark applicationcould point towards a sequel, a spin-off, a port, or even something related to the cyberpunkian Deus Ex movie being worked on by writer C Robert Cargill and director Scott Derrickson.

Hopefully it’s the first of those. Human Revolution was easily the greatest game ever to star a man with bionic legsand arms full of tiny bombs.
