In a report by Gamasutra, it has been revealed that Star Citizen earned more in pledges than all the other videogame Kickstarters combined.
High profile videogame Kickstarters were in short supply in 2014, but the fact that a single project had a $12million lead on every other game on the platform is still an astounding feat.
That pace of funding doesn’t look like it’s slowing down any time soon either, with Star Citizen’s pace of funding recently accelerating, powered by new backers.
