Blizzard launch Battle.net World Championship site

Comment

Blizzard have deleted whatever slice of code in their Battle.net World Championship website constituted a curtain, unveiling the hub in advance of the event set to arrive in Shanghai on November 17th. A little research will reveal that today is still August, so make that way in advance. Perhaps Blizzard underestimated the ability of their site designers and gave them a superfluous two month safety net? Or perhaps the World Championship Series has already begun?

Turns out it’s the latter. Over 30 regional events will decide the team makeup of Shanghai’s tournament, each with its own exhaustive bank of information on the site, including dates, teams, the prize pool and, when the time comes, live streams.

Cor. Good work, Blizzard.
