Ubisoft’s extreme snow-sports game, Steep, gets two beta phases in November

Steep

Next month you’ll be able to ski, board, parachute and wingsuit down snowy mountains in Steep, Ubisoft’s upcoming extreme sports title. It looks pretty gnarly, sick and all those other cool words young people definitely say in real life.

Never miss a thing with out list of upcoming PC games

Steep will have two beta phases next month, one with limited invites and another open for all. The first will run November 10-14 and the open beta will run November 18-21.

If you want to hit the snowy slopes of Steep’s open-world at the earlier date, you’ll need to register interest and cross your fingers. Make sure to register before November 9, otherwise you’ve got no chance.

The beta gives players access to three of the game’s seven regions, letting you freely explore the game’s Alp, Aravis, the Tyrol and the Needles-inspired peaks, completing challenges and finding that perfect run.

“Riders can traverse the Alps solo or drop in side-by-side with friends to record and share the most insane tricks ever captured on the slopes,” says the official blurb. “Designed for a generation that’s all about sharing their experiences with the world, Steep encourages players to challenge their friends to see who truly comes out on top of the world.”

Steep releases on December 2.
