Telltale are releasing more Walking Dead content before season two

walkingdeadep3a

Telltale’s The Walking Dead series is getting a second season at some point in a far flung future, but writer Gary Whitta has told IGN that we can expect to see more from the clicking-on-zombies adventure game before then. Maybe in the form of an interim episode, or perhaps in the form of a poem or cheeky limerick. Whitta’s not saying anything beyond revealing that Telltale are working on something and we’ll have it before season two.

“Knowing that [season two] isa way off,” he teased,”and knowing that people are hungry for more Walking Dead…there may very well be more Walking Dead from Telltale before season two. We may have a little something extra for you between season one and two that will make the wait slightly less agonizing.”

Perhaps we’ll get something like a Doctor Who holiday special then, or a spin-off focusing on one of season one’s secondary characters, or just something to sink our teeth into while the shambling silhouette of a second season of The Walking Dead lumbers towards us, all scrappy of shirt andtattered of trou. Look, I wrote about why you should care about The Walking Dead a while ago, and it probably still applies.

Thanks, VG247.
