Ubisoft celebrate Splinter Cell: Blacklist delay with a patriotic trailer

Comment

Splinter Cell: Blacklist has been delayed until August 20th. Boo! Luckily, Ubisoft have seen fit to soften the blow with a new trailer which I’ve dubbed ‘All the Presidents’ Man’.

Watch as a buffet of camera-friendly US presidents pledge their willingness to have Sam Fisher around, gravely acknowledge their duty to fund brutal takedowns, and solemnly swear their fealty to the practice of jumping through an interior window, throwing a flash grenade and totally making short work of some bad guys.

Watch, too, as Sam Fisher unveils his plan to prevent “all the attacks”, and further to instigate world peace(?).

Trailers are silly, then, and lots of fun. But what of the game? Are you looking forward to August?

Thanks to RPS and IGN.
