We’ve got 100 copies of Grid 2’s comprehensive DLC pack to give away, and would you look at that – Grid 2 is on sale

Update: We’ve got 50 more copies of the DLC pack – which means 50 more winners. Hooray!

Grid is a series presumably named after starting grids, but isn’t really about them at all – it’s actually about leaving the chequered line behind to grind huge metal constructs against one other at high speeds, only returning once per lap for a 0.24 second reunion.

It’s a poignant story of doomed love, is what I’m saying – a very well thought of recent racing game currently heavily discounted in the Steam Autumn Sales. And for 50 of you, we can provide a complimentary swag bag of DLC.

The All-in Pack DLC usually sells for £24.99 on Steam, and incorporates 10 packs released since GRID 2’s launch. Included in those are a host of new routes to race up and down on circuits like the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Australia’s Mount Panorama.

Among the extra vehicles you’ll gain are a couple of memorable machines from Grid 2’s predecessor – the Koenigsegg CCGT and the Pagani Zonda Revolución, the 2013 version of the Pagani Zonda R.

Best of all, in my book, you’ll have a perfect way to test Steam’s Big Picture mode if you haven’t already. Nothing makes a swively office chair feel more like a couch than simulated motorsports.

We’re going to conduct this just like the Hearthstone giveaway, though ideally with fewer explosions. You’ll want to create an account on the site, and ensure you’ve provided us with an email address either on sign-up or on your profile page.

Register your interest by posting in the comments here – about Grid, the weather, whatever – and we’ll randomly select 50 winners. We’ll mail the DLC keys out manually. And when I say we, I mean our Nick. Since Hearthstone, it’s the only way he can get off to sleep.

On your marks, or whatever the in-car equivalent is! Neeeeerowwwwm:
