World of Tanks’ four best e-sports teams to face off at WGL’s Continental Rumble, October 17

This weekend’s a biggie for World of Tanks players – the four best teams from EU and CIS territories will be going track-to-track in Poznan, Poland, at the Continental Rumble event.

Part of the Poznan Game Arena event taking place across the weekend, those teams will be scrapping for a share of the $100,000 prize pool. See the above pic for the tourny structure.

Wargaming.net League (WGL) Season 1 CIS champions Natus Vincere (Na`Vi) will be in attendance, likewise fellow CIS outfit Not So Serious Team (NSS), who sound like a laugh. Reppin’ the EU are WGL Season 1 European champions Wombats on Tanks, and Tornado ROX, who won the Continental Rumble qualifying tournament. Those four teams will be joined by special guests Kazna Kru, who won WGL season five.

The $100,000 prize pool will be dished out as follows: $45,000 for the victors, $30,000 for second place, $15,000 for third, and $10,000 for fourth. Semi-finals start at 12.00PM on the 17th.

Those in attendance will also get to lay eyes on the first ever tier 10 match. “Tier 10 vehicles are considered the crowning achievement in World of Tanks,” reads the accompanying press release. “New to the public and the pros, this All-Star extravaganza will exhibit just what players are capable of when they are in the driver’s seat of some of the most devastatingly powerful tanks in the game.”
